If You’re Looking For Ways to Get Perfect Abs Fast   by Brandon Jay Jones

If you’re looking for ways to get sick pack abs, I just might have what you’re looking for. It doesn’t involve doing any crunches or sit ups. Nor, does it consist of running on a treadmill for 2-3 hours per day.

In fact, it’s the exact opposite. It’s called “High Intensity Interval Training” and is also called HIIT for short.

You may have even heard of this before.

If you haven’t don’t worry, I’ll explain it very simply and give you a few examples of what to do. But first, let’s talk about why this is so effective. Especially, as opposed to “traditional” ab workouts.

Well, for starters, HIIT has been shown in study after study to be a much more effective FAT burner that a steady state of aerobic exercise.

Now, when I say aerobic, I’m talking about using a stationary bike, or using an elliptical. Those types of exercises will burn calories and fat. But, they also strip your body of muscle. Not only that but they don’t burn nearly as much fat as high intensity interval training.

What is High Intensity Interval Training?

Well, it’s much like it sounds. You alternative “all-out” aerobic exercise with active rest.

Here’s an example: Let’s say you have a hill close to your house. To get started, you would want to “lightly” jog over to that hill. This will help get you warmed up.

Once you get to the hill – you would sprint up to the top, “all-out” as fast as you can. Then you would walk back down. The walking serves as your “rest interval.” Then you repeat for a certain number of intervals.

Are you starting to see what I mean?

One other example would be to use a jump rope. After a brief warm up, jump rope as fast as you can for 10-30 seconds. Follow that up with a slower cadence jump rope. Again, follow that up for a set number of intervals.

Make sure you always warm up before starting any type of HIIT program. If you’re out of shape, you want to “ease” into it.

Why doesn’t everyone do this?

Well, for starters, not everyone knows this type of exercise is effective. The other main reason is because doing HIIT is “hard.” It’s much easier to run on a treadmill or sit on a bike. Even for 30-60 minutes.

Which is precisely the reason most people don’t have a flat stomach. If you’re the type of person who is willing to do something “different” because you realize that is what it takes, I highly suggest HIIT exercise.

In addition to performing HIIT exercise, there are various tips and tricks out there that will help you get the six pack you’ve always wanted.
